Wednesday restocks: a second chance for next week
The museum lists additional tickets online at 12:00 Italian time on Wednesdays for the following week. Have your date, full party size and alternatives ready before checking. A scheduled release does not establish availability for your chosen slot.
Travelling soon? Check sold-out and last-minute options →What time is noon in Italy where you live?
Use Europe/Rome on the actual release date. Italy changes between summer and winter time, and other countries can change clocks on different dates. Set your calendar event in the Rome time zone instead of using a fixed offset.
For Beijing and Singapore, noon in Italy is 18:00 during Italian summer time or 19:00 during winter time. For London and US cities, use the date-specific converter in your calendar.
What to do before tickets go on sale
Write down your preferred date, acceptable alternatives and party size. Prepare visitor details and test access to the booking platform linked by the museum. Leave enough room around the eventual slot for travel and arrival checks.
Once a sale is announced, set a reminder for its stated time and follow the platform’s queue instructions. Our booking guide covers the reservation process; avoid relying on claims about fixed cart holds or guaranteed places.
Continue to the booking steps →Your dates are not available yet?
If the full travel period is missing, check whether its sale has actually been announced. A date absent from the calendar is not by itself proof of a sell-out.
If sales have opened and your dates have no places, use the sold-out guide for the next checks. Our concierge request calendar is separate from museum availability.
Distinguish unreleased and sold-out dates →Frequently asked questions
Are tickets released exactly 90 days ahead?
No. Use the batch announcement covering your travel months rather than a fixed countdown.
Is every Wednesday a guarantee of tickets?
No. The schedule describes when to check, not a promise of a suitable date or enough places.
When do free first-Sunday reservations open?
The museum lists noon on the preceding Wednesday. Reservations are still required; check current arrangements before planning your visit.
